About Me
I began working with actors over 13 years ago when I decided to
suspend my acting career (see below) and teach so I could stay at
home after my daughter was born. That decision has lead to one of
the most fulfilling experiences in my life. Helping actors find
and connect to what is deep within them and giving them a technique
that allows them to shine!
I began teaching at the T.
Schreiber Studio where I had received my professional training
studying with Terry Schreiber. He had opened up a whole new
world to the craft of acting for me and to able to pass that on,
along with my own professional experience as an actress, to the
next generation of actors has been one of the greatest gifts of
my life.
I teach an Advanced
Scene Study class at T. Schreiber Studio as well as my
popular Monologue
Workshop.

MY WORK AS AN ACTRESS...
During my 20 years as a professional actress, I was fortunate to
have performed many of the great roles written for the stage. I
costarred with Jean Stapleton in The Showoff and performed
major roles in New York at The Roundabout Theatre (The
Holly and the Ivy, Winners w/Kate Burton), The
York Theatre Company (The Miser), American Renaissance
Theatre (The Seagull) and Primary Stages (The
NY premiere of Stopping the Desert). Regional credits include
The Guthrie Theatre (Foxfire, directed by Terry
Schreiber), The Kennedy Center, Syracuse Stage
(Romeo and Juliet), The Asolo Theatre (The Doctor
in Spite of Himself), The Pennsylvania Stage Company
(Cat on a Hot Tin Roof),and The Pittsburgh Public Theatre
(Buried Child, Vanities). More of my favorite roles
and plays include: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Tartuffe,
Twelfth Night, The Crucible, The Real Inspector
Hound and Rosalind in the PBS Camera South production of As
You Like It. My television work included numerous national commercials
and various roles on NY soaps. Film work included The Verdict
directed by Sydney Lumet and Robert Altman's Nashville.
